Our agency is currently processing all Sales & Use tax payments. You may see a delay in the debiting of your payment from your account. Please be assured that all payments impacted by the delay in processing will be considered timely paid even if debited after the requested debit date.

File Sales And Use Tax Returns

 
 

We are currently processing all Sales & Use tax payments. You may see a delay in debiting of your payment. All payments impacted will be considered timely.

To assist businesses affected by the severe storms caused by remnants of Hurricane Ida, Comptroller Peter Franchot announced he will extend Tax Relief to Businesses Statewide. Sales and Use Tax August returns with due date September 20th, 2021 now have an extended due date of October 20th, 2021. Business taxpayers who file and pay by the extended due date of October 20th, 2021 will receive a waiver of interest and penalties. Note: If you file after the original due date the payment date will default to the current day. We recommend businesses file only when ready to make a payment. Withholding August returns with due date September 15th, 2021 now have an extended due date of October 15th, 2021. Business taxpayers who file and pay by the extended due date of October 15th, 2021 will receive a waiver of interest and penalties. .
