To assist businesses affected by the economic impact of COVID-19, Comptroller Peter Franchot announced he will extend business tax filing deadlines to June 1st , 2020. Sales and use tax returns with due dates during the months of March, April and May, 2020, now have an extended due date of June 1, 2020. Business taxpayers who file and pay by the extended due date will receive a waiver of interest and penalties.
Note: If you file after the original due date the payment date will default to the current day and the payment will be withdrawn from your bank account in 2-4 business days. We recommend businesses file only when ready to make a payment.

Your return will not be considered late when you file by June 1st, 2020.
